Cheat Code Cryptor V2.0.4

This tool will convert codes from Codebreaker and AR/GS formats into raw hexadecimal and vice-versa. Take a look at the Cheat Code Cryptor tutorial on the FAQS page for more instructions. This tool was created by Herben.

Fullcode's Multi-line Converter

This tool will convert codes to and from most popular code formats. The best feature it has is the ability to copy and past large blocks of codes for conversion. It will even ignore text that is not a code when possible (you can keep the descriptions with it).

If you know how to use the Cheat Code Cryptor, you should be able to figure this tool out, though it should be noted that you must paste the entire key code of an AR2/GS2 code in the KeyCode field. Anything less causes a run-time error. You also must set the "Action Replay 2 Coding Format to "custom" when working with Suikoden III codes.

PS2Dis - PS2 ELF Disassembler

This handy tool will disassemble PS2 executable files. It is completely free, unlike other disassemblers, and functions quite well. This link leads to an off-site page where you can download the tool.

Note: It helps if you have a DVD drive in your PC. In order to use this program you will need the ELF (ELF = Executable and Linking Format) from your game's DVD. You may be able to get it from someone else, but it is much less of a hassle if you can just copy it yourself.

PS2 Save Slicer

This tool will pull segments of data out of save games downloaded to your PC with a Sharkport/Xport, EMS or other save tool. You can then use the extracted data file in comparisons or searches without including unnecessary data. This download is also an off-site link.

File Compare

This is a fairly simple program that just compares the contents of two files. I don't use it personally, as I find the compare facility in my Hex Editor to be adequate, but you may find it useful.

All Manner of Tools

Just a link to download.com. Use their search option to find tools you may need that are not listed here. Hex Workshop is a fairly good Hex Editor that they have a trial version of. Another usable Hex Editor is called Hackman which is freeware. It is not my personal favorite, but it does work and you will not be bothered with trial expirations.
